Now Recruiting! We are currently recruiting for Local Reps in our area. You can simply apply as a volunteer online. Don't miss this opportunity to support LGBT Youth in your region!
Queer Youth East Anglia was founded in 2007 by a group of LGBT Young People who wanted to improve services and opportunities for queer youth across the region. They also wanted to bring together the small, but growing collection of existing gay youth groups that exist in the area and encourage the local authorities to start new ones. Torin was the first leader of QYEA and resigned in June 2008.
Davidf and Krisskins then took over the roles of Co-Ordinator and deputy Co-ordinator in 2009. Since the beginning of 2010 meets are being held across the region every month. Contact davidf with more info about meets etc.
Also in East Anglia, new youth groups are emerging such as 'BLAH', They meet every week for 2 hours. There're currently groups in Norwich, Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth. For more information, click on 'BLAH' under 'Gay Youth Groups' lower down this page
