If you are Under 18 in a Pub, Club, or Bar the Police may occasionaly do spot checks on anyone who looks young, they will ask for ID which
proves your age.If they find you are under 18 they will escort you home to your familly and inform the venue ownder which means you could be
banned from the venue in future and the venue could also be closed down if you buy any alcohol there. You can also be arrested on the charged
for attempting to buy alcohol whilst being under 18. The most a bouncer will do if they suspect you are under 18 is turn you away but some may
call the police.
Remember:
Bars, Clubs and Pubs have to right to refuse admission to anyone they please
Bouncers and Doorstaff remember faces, treat them how you want them to treat you back
Carrying a 'Fake ID' can get you into a lot of trouble if the police find it
Some places require you to be 21 or above, this isn't a law, it's just discrimination
Watch you personal belongings at a gay venue, they are known for petty theives that prey on the 'freedom'
If someone offers you a drink, Say no thanks make sure that you take it directly from the barstaff
'Drink Spiking' is on the increase, 1/3 of all rape crimes involve drink spiking
Go out in a group of people who you trust and make sue you can get home okay
